The role is responsible for enhancing the reputation of Sanofi and driving the development of comprehensive health policies in Vietnam through policy analysis, strategy recommendation, and stakeholder engagement with focus on policy makers, business associations, research institutions and think tanks. The role will champion our influencing and engagement work across the healthcare sector. Success is this role will be achieved through:

1) Develop deep understanding of healthcare landscape in Vietnam to facilitate both internal and external stakeholder engagement
2) Provide public affairs council to GenMed Business Unit Heads ( EP, Diabetes,.. ) and Specialty Care (Sanofi Genzyme)
3) Identify opportunities partnership with external organization (such as government organization, ..) to build up image and Sanofi reputation in Vietnam
4) Identify opportunities across the portfolio public affairs activities could either increase or retain the value of Sanofi GenMed and Sanofi Genzyme categories/ brands in Vietnam
5) Maintain cross-team communication on policy issues to achieve internal alignment on advocacy plans to optimize the policy advantage for Sanofi Vietnam
6) Monitor and provide internal policy analysis as well as strategy recommendation on advancing healthcare landscape in Vietnam
7) Act as business partner to GenMed & Sanofi Genzyme business units in Vietnam to collaborate closely with Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Sales to ensure consolidated approach in strategy planning and implementation
8) Manage external agencies supporting the efforts
9) Support patient/patient group/patient advocacy group in advocated activities in each relevant business.

Corporate compliance responsibilities:
• Accountable for assuring compliance’s rules & ethic code when working with Health Care Professional to strengthen the company’s image.
• Ensure all the related activities comply with relevant acts, legal demand, and ethical standards and in line with marketing plan

Corporate HSE responsibilities
• Following all HSE guidelines and policies requested by the Group as well as contributing to the achievement of the HSE objectives.
• Line Manager is accountable for assuring compliance with the road safety program for driving employees under their supervision and leads by example.
• Others: carrying out special/ad-hoc requirements as requested by supervisor if any

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited four-year college or university)
• Post-graduate degree in public health or health care related field /Doctorate degree (e.g., M.D., PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) will be a plus
• Years of experience: 3 to 5 years Minimum experience needed in public affairs/government affairs and/or advocacy roles or any position involving engagement with external stakeholders (ie: communication, medical…)
• Languages: Fluent English (oral & written)
• Skills: Audacity, Creativity, Respect, Courage, Solidarity & Performance, Interpersonal Communication
• Experience in public affairs and patient advocacy, market-shaping strategies, advocacy campaigns, or advanced responsibilities in an industry public affairs role or Scientific Affairs role.
• Knowledge of and existing relationships with key external PA stakeholders in the country market
• Ability to influence in a proactive, objective and diplomatic manner
• Ability to drive projects and initiatives and execute successfully in a complex environment, working with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Proven track record successfully executing complex projects and initiatives, on time, within budget, with measurement of results
• Good understanding of stakeholder engagement techniques, policy-making processes and stakeholders, pharmaceutical and healthcare business, country-specific PA community and healthcare landscape
• Ability to develop successful partnerships with local non-governmental influencers
• Ability to drive local alignment, execution, buy-in across and within the country BU leadership teams though effective interpersonal relations and networking
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to be a good team player and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders from different functions
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
