Homebase is seeking a skilled Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key team members, leveraging your expertise to ensure effective risk management. You will play a vital role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to safeguard our organization's interests.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the real estate market and legal considerations in Vietnam and prior experience in investing and evaluating properties. Upon joining Homebase, you will assume the following crucial responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of customers and real estate properties, considering legal, financial, and market factors;
- Participate in negotiations and real estate investment reviews to identify and address potential risk areas;
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks to mitigate potential risks pertaining to customer assessment and real estate investments;
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on risk matters;
- Effectively communicate risk committee decisions to stakeholders at all levels;
- Balance commercial opportunities with risk considerations to make sound and well-informed decisions;
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and legal developments impacting the real estate sector;
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:
- Based in HCMC;
- Bachelor's degree;
- 5+ years of prior experience in credit and/or real estate risk assessment;
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders;
- In-depth understanding of real estate valuation methodologies, investment analysis, and legal considerations;
- In-depth understanding of customer credit assessment;
- Experience in investing in and buying properties, with a successful track record of property acquisitions and divestments is a plus;
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex data, identify potential risks, and develop risk mitigation measures;
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on risk management best practices;
- Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and legal developments impacting the real estate sector;
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
