OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled lawyer with experience in the area of debt recovery litigation as well as commercial law practice.
The candidate must have an unrestricted Vietnamese practicing certificate and possess excellent drafting, negotiating, and reviewing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drafting letters of demand, legal opinions, pleadings, cause papers and submissions in respect of debt recovery with minimal supervision.
• Advising clients on suitability / viability of different debt recovery methods available in Vietnam.
• Represent clients in debt recovery litigation in all levels of courts in Vietnam.
• Experienced in attending to Hearings, Trials and Appeals in respect to debt recovery.
• Represent Collectius in all administrative matters as instructed by Collectius.
• Draft, negotiate and review a variety of contracts including but not limited to Asset Sale and Purchase Agreements, Share Sale Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, Subscription Agreements, Service Agreements and Facility Agreements.
• Provide legal support and advice on various issues in company’s daily business and operations. Undertake new market entry projects which require an understanding of other local laws.
• Monitor changes and developments in the legal and regulatory environment in Vietnam and provide appropriate counsel and advice to management.
• Co-ordinate all Intellectual Property (IP) related tasks and registrations.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties and assignments as may be assigned by the superior/company from time to time.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Qualified Lawyer holding a valid practicing certificate in Vietnam.
• No records of disciplinary action by any relevant authorities.
• Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in debt recovery litigation in Vietnam (acting on behalf of banks/financial institutions is preferred).
• Must have experience in drafting and reviewing contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must possess a strong commercial sense and ability to make practical evaluations of risks.
• Must be fluent in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken). Additional APAC languages are advantageous.
• High degree of stakeholder orientation and appropriate prioritization.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize substantial and diverse workload in challenging legal environment.
