JOB PURPOSE:
- To provide legal liaison with authorities, advisory, licensing and litigation and arbitration monitoring to support residential projects.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Candidate is expected to assist the General Director in whatever duties the management may require for the obtainment of legal and authority approvals required for the project companies.
- Take on an active role in terms of authority liaison and compliance matters, ensure all authority permits, inspections, approval documents are obtained in a timely manner in line with project development schedule.
- Advice on legal and compliance matters for the residential project
- Provide update on/summary of changes in laws and regulations which are relevant to the company’s field of business
- Supervise contract implementation, e.g. effective date, due dates for required actions, expiration, etc.
- Proof-reading of papers/memo/official letters drafted/prepared by other team members
- Translate documents from Vietnamese to English and vice-versa and the proof-reading of translation works
- Draft and review application dossiers for the incorporation documents and submission documents required by the authorities for the project companies
- Provide advice on litigation and arbitration
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Candidate must have worked in a real estate investor company (BDS Chủ Đầu Tư) before with minimum 8 years related experience.
- Candidate is preferred to be a law degree graduate, and well verse in (i) Company law, (ii) Law on Real Estate Trading & (iii) Construction law. Must have experience in Real Estate Projects Legal.
- Candidate should have a well-groomed appearance with strong bilingual (English and Vietnamese) communications ability.
- Candidate should be able to have experience and adequate understanding on general MNC (International) corporate compliance procedures.
- Candidate is expected to be main liaison person to deal with any authority agencies regarding any government approval issues relating to the project.
- As the main liaison person, the candidate is expected to work well with other department team members to deliver successful approval outcome for the project without delay.
- Candidate should have good problem solving skills, able to think critically and anticipate any issues relating to the government approvals and be able take proactive steps to ensure the approval goes smoothly without delay.
- There may be some period of long hours of work, including during weekends and off-days are expected due to exigencies to ensure the successful outcome of the approvals. The candidate must be able to handle such exigencies.
