PRIMARY REPORTING MANAGER: HEAD OF MIDDLE OFFICE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Approve KYC profiles and evaluate AML client risk ratings based on analysis of client complex data:
- Perform name and account based research via internal and external sources.
- Perform screening (against Sanctions, PEPs, Negative Press lists) on clients and related parties.
- Gather and analyse documents in accordance with regulatory requirements and Clients’ guidance
- Support UOB HCMC Branch in implementation of UOB AML/KYC policy, AML/KYC program review, compliance monitoring, AML managementØ & regulatory reporting, and AML related tasks.
- Ensures UOB adherence to applicable AML laws and regulations in Singapore with the development and implementation of specific Global/Country AML Program–both on-boardingØ & periodic review.
- Be up-to-date with AML, counter terrorist financing and related regulations, policies and procedures.
- Implement and improve customer risk rating criteria with KYC management and procedure for SME.
- Involve in clearance, investigation and escalation of high-risk triggers such as PEPs, negative media hits, and other factors based on research due diligence.Ø
- Escalate any red flags/potential risks as well as operational issues and suggest solutions to Retail Management.
- Other duties or projects assigned by Line Manager.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
Mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in Banking Customer Management and KYC/AML process. Familiar with KYC search.
• Intensive knowledge on evolving regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Know tactical approach to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk, Internal Control for good outcome.
• Strong sense of business-support with successful accomplishment of outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, teamwork environment.
• Analytical mind and commitment to deadline.
• Good English, both spoken and written.
Preferred:
• MBA is a plus
• Experience in people management is preferred.
