Legal Counsel

1/ Legal:
• Prepare, draft and review the Company’s contracts & agreements and other legal documents to ensure compliance with the laws;
• Prepare application files for all kind of licensing procedures, corporate filing and other procedures in relation to legal matters;
• Support and provide legal advice to all Departments in a timely and accurate manner;
• Research and analysis the laws and regulations;
• Consult legal issues to ensure the compliance with laws and regulations and prevent legal risks;
• Work with relevant authorities as requested from time to time;
• Support to solve problems related to complaints, litigation, contractual disputes, contract breach, copycats infringement, violation of company regulations.
2/ Compliance:
• Support to handle compliance and corporate governance issues
• Respond to requests from the Regional Trademarks Department or Marketing teams and monitor requests from the business regarding trademark registrations, renewals, oppositions and clearances for new products to support legal activities to ensure protection of URC’s trademark portfolio and no infringements of other trademark or IP rights
• Establish a legal and compliance process to improve internal process across departments and align with Regional Legal Counsel
• Compile data and creates reports as well as related correspondence as directed by superiors
• Other tasks assigned by Director of Legal, Compliance & Corporate Affairs from time to time
Yêu cầu ứng viên
Experience Requirements:
• At least 6 year working experience at the position Legal Counsel and Compliance position in FMCG (F&B) industry and/or reputable law-firm;
• Familiar with and expertise in the areas of foreign investment, commercial/ trading law, Labor Law, Enterprise law, Food Safety Law
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Good advisor with open, flexible and business-sense
• Able to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision
• Team work and can collaborate with other teams in the Company
Education requirements:
• Graduate from University of Laws, or Universities major in Laws.
• Certificate of Practicing Lawyer is preferred.
• Good in English communication
