Mô tả công việc
- Manage, oversee and develop a team of in - house legal professionals in VPS
- Provide commercial legal advice on a wide variety of legal and quasi legal matter directly related to the business
- Supporting different business lines in closing deals and negotiating sales contracts
- Review, comment on, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial and corporate contracts
- Work closely with partners and third - party suppliers to the business
- Select, instruct and manage external counsel (if necessary)
- Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
- Lead or advise on strategic and compliance projects as required
- Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal best practice
- Work closely with product team on investor/client communications
- Research various legal and regulatory issues, including those associated with expansion of VPS's business model.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Degree in laws is a must
- 10+ years’ experience in providing legal advice, preferred in finance industry, drafting and negotiating of complex contracts
- Experience with a large company in a similar business is a strong preference
- Fluency in English is an advantage
- Previous role working closely with senior business stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and a working style that is assertive and can bring projects to completion and meet defined objectives
- Clear commitment to VPS’s culture, values and approach
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast - paced environment
- Consensus builder and team player with the ability to work well within a matrix organization
