LIDE Connexion (https://www.lideconnexion.com/) is a group of companies having offices in four countries, including Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and Melbourne (Australia). In Vietnam, all business activities of LIDE Connexion are operated under two companies, LIDE Vietnam Joint Stock Company (which focuses on business advisory and consulting activities) and LIDE Legal Company Limited (which focuses on legal advisory activities).

At the moment, LIDE Legal is rapidly developing its business activities in Vietnam and, therefore, is offering an internship opportunity for a Legal Intern who will support the Managing Partner and the Legal Team in licensing works (such as corporate incorporation, and registration of changes to clients’ corporate information) and general legal matters, including corporate governance, labor & employment, taxation, trade & commerce, healthcare, education and information technologies. This is a hands-on learning position designed to help the intern build practical legal skills under close supervision.

This position will join a small but very active, professional, and business oriented team.

This position will support, and work under the direction of the Managing Partner of LIDE Legal (the “MP”) and/or the assigned Junior Associate in the following tasks:

• Assist in conducting legal research and legal analysis, and help prepare drafts of legal advice in the form of legal memo, legal note or email, for review by the MP or the assigned Junior Associate;
• Support the drafting and review of contracts/agreements – such as sale and purchase agreements, services agreements, shareholders agreements and non-disclosure agreements – under supervision;
• Assist in preparing the application forms and other supporting documents for the incorporation of new companies (both local and foreign owned companies) or for the registration of changes to companies’ corporate information;
• Support communications and follow-up with relevant government authorities, clients and business partners when required;
• Assist with document management, translation and general administrative support for the legal team; and
• Other tasks as the MP may assign from time to time.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Education: Final-year student pursuing, or a recent graduate holding, a bachelor’s degree in law. 
• Mindset and soft skills:
  • Must have a growth mindset, eagerness to learn and self-learning ability; 
  • Careful attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and reviewing documents; 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word;  
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; and 
  • Have good communications and interpersonal skills. 
• English and other language ability: Good command of English in both written and spoken communication. 
• Related experiences: No prior professional experience required; prior internship, clerkship or part-time exposure in a law firm or an in-house legal team is an advantage.

• There is a possibility of conversion to a full-time Junior Associate role based on performance.
