Legal Counsel, Legal Staff (Junior to Middle Level)
Mô tả công việc
* Legal
- Have deep knowledge and understanding of personal data protection regulations and related issues.
- Have knowledge of CIT, tax incentives, and tax audit.
- Have knowledge of the Labor Code and related regulations;
- Have knowledge of Hi-tech certification, R&D conditions, and related regulations.
- Have knowledge of investment capital and related regulations.
- Have knowledge of corporate governance laws and procedures.
- Have experience in dealing with criminal issues.
- Provide advice on general corporate, regulatory, administrative and other legal matters as assigned by Head of Group/Part or senior members.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice as requested by other departments as assigned by Head of Group/Part or senior members.
- Draft and review all kinds of commercial contracts in compliance with Samsung’s policies and applicable laws and to protect Samsung’ best interest as assigned by Head of Group/Part or senior members.
- Accurately and appropriately prepare legal documents, official letters in both English and Vietnamese as assigned by Head of Group/Part or senior members from time to time.
* Compliance
- Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising on potential compliance risks.
- Conduct compliance training as scheduled by HQ and as required by BOD.
- Conduct investigation of non-compliance and internal audit (e.g., in respect of labor and workplace safety laws, international human rights standards, and/or the vendor/supplier code of conduct).
- Maintain documentation of compliant, timely and practical advice.
- Provide update on new laws and regulations and evaluate the impact.
- Draft compliance-related reports as required by HQ.
* Other jobs
- Review, revise, negotiate, and manage contracts on the contract management system (ECMS).
- Other jobs assigned by Head of Group/Part.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Bachelor Degree in Laws,..
- Experience in legal the profession and compliance matters with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in MNC or a law firm.
- For legal counsel, at least 3 years of experience as a lawyer after qualification, preferably in a law firm.
- Experience in personal data protection, training antitrust, anti-corruption, sexual harassment, data privacy, etc.
- High proficiency in English and Vietnamese (both written and verbal) and ability to communicate clearly; ability to read and write Korean is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proactive, good at communication, loyal, hardworking, willingness to follow directions, and cooperate with other team members.
- Must be proficient with MS office programs.
