1. Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive, commercially driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our dynamic marketing team at Longdan, a leading Asian food retailer and wholesaler. This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally savvy marketer to contribute to both our retail and wholesale growth across the UK and European markets.
You will be responsible for delivering data-led, sales-focused digital marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on email marketing and social media engagement. Your work will be instrumental in generating qualified sales leads, driving conversions, and aligning communication across platforms to reflect our brand identity and promotional strategy.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution, and is ideal for someone with a creative mind, analytical capability, and a passion for multicultural food retail.
2. Key Responsibilities
EMAIL MARKETING (RETAIL & WHOLESALE)
- Plan, design, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns for both B2C (retail) and B2B (wholesale) audiences using Mailchimp or similar platforms.
- Develop segmented email flows (e.g., welcome series, re-engagement, abandoned cart, seasonal campaigns) to increase open and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance (CTR, open rate, conversions), conduct A/B tests, and optimise content to drive leads and sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to integrate lead-generation goals into campaign strategies.
- Maintain GDPR-compliant mailing lists and manage subscriber journeys.
SOCIAL MEDIA & CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS
- Manage and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with content that aligns with brand tone and promotional priorities.
- Create innovative and trend-driven content, including videos, reels, user-generated content (UGC), influencer partnerships, and culturally relevant messaging.
- Align social posts with ongoing campaigns, product launches, holidays, and special promotions.
- Analyse social metrics and community engagement to refine content strategy.
PAID MEDIA & SEO
- Execute and optimise Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and other paid media campaigns to drive high-intent traffic.
- Monitor ad performance, manage budgets, and adjust creatives based on analytics.
- Collaborate on SEO strategies, on-page optimisation, keyword targeting, and content writing for improved organic visibility.
WEBSITE & E-COMMERCE OPERATIONS
- Regularly update Shopify website banners, promotions, and landing pages to reflect campaigns and seasonality.
- Coordinate with the product and purchasing team to ensure promotional accuracy and stock alignment.
- Conduct periodic UX audits and work with developers or third-party tools to enhance navigation and conversion flow.
BRANDING & MARKETING SUPPORT
- Support the development of creative marketing materials, point-of-sale content, brochures, and digital assets.
- Assist in conceptualising and implementing seasonal campaigns (e.g., Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival) across platforms.
- Ensure consistency across all communication channels and alignment with brand identity.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- 1–3 years of proven digital marketing experience in an e-commerce, retail, or food/FMCG environment.
- Demonstrated success in email marketing and lead generation.
- Hands-on experience with Mailchimp, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and Shopify.
- Basic proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar for creating digital assets.
- Strong understanding of SEO, website analytics (GA4), and customer journey optimisation.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills; able to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
