JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Researching and construing the legal matters pertaining to the laws and regulations on investment, real estate, housing, urban planning, construction, and land, particularly in terms of project transfer and investment cooperation;
- Drafting and reviewing contract documents pertaining to the transfer of (part of) project, investment cooperation, and other agreements within the scope of the Department by compromising with domestic and international Investors (Transferees);
- Negotiating with and convincing counterparts to accept the proposal under the Company’s intended conditions;
- Reviewing documents and dossiers in respect of the administrative procedures as regulated under the laws and regulation;
- Translating any official and unofficial correspondence, internal documents, and any documents received from outside the company from Vietnamese into English and vice versa;
- Preparing correspondence between the company and stakeholders both in Vietnamese and English;
- Proceeding with contracts administration and management in conjunction with the parties thereto after entering into the contracts, inter alia, payment schedule, time-bar management, authority approval procedures;
- Providing legal opinion on requested matters;
- Liaising with the Authorities and Transferees to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities under the contracts;
- Liaising with and controlling over the external law firms and consultancy firms (if any) during the course of contract implementation;
- Liaising with other departments to complete the assigned tasks herein.
- Detecting and advising on possible/potential risks to the operation of the Company;
- Updating relevant changes in legal systems and analyzing the influence of such changes.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned by the seniors.

JOB (MINIMUM) REQUIREMENTS
- Fluency in English and Legal English concerning Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking is a must;
- Diligent, Honest, Hardworking, Responsible;
- Negotiation and Communication skills, Able to work under pressure;
- The ability to work independently and in collaboration with the team and other departments;
- Microsoft Office competency;
- Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area is a must. An applicant with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law will be given preference;
- Experience: 3 years or more working experience at law firms, consultancy firms, or major real estate enterprise in a similar position;
- The desire and willingness to work at the Company on a long-term basis.
