WORK IN HO CHI MINH OFFICE: Hai Ha Building, 217 Nguyen Van Thu Street, Hai Ha building, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
RESPONSIBILITIES: Legal Manager/ Legal Officer:
• Responsible for the day-to-day legal matters in cooperation with Management of The Grand Ho Tram Strip The Bluffs and assigned by Director of Legal;
• Provide in house legal opinions with respect to commercial laws, enterprise law, investment law, labor law, intellectual property law, general tax issues, etc… to relevant departments and affiliates;
• Provide risk assessment and legal advices on company operational and development projects;
• Negotiate, review and draft contracts, corporate documents and other legal governmental documents;
• Liaise with regulatory authorities where necessary;
• Participates as directed in the investigation, analysis of and reporting on financial transactions and customer data for possible suspicious activity, money laundering and/or other violations according to Anti Money Laundering (AML) applicable regulations;
• Where necessary, organize meeting for addressing queries, issues and facts that the audit team member raise up and take notes of measurements;
• Research and prepare adjustments of the Company’s AML internal controls to fit the applicable regulations within the established procedures for presentation and approval;
• Serves as the liaison with regulatory agencies if required and is responsible for submitting applicable regulatory filings to the authorities.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)
• Review Cycle Time/Processing Time of day-to-day matters to be processed in house, provide risk assessment and delivery of advices in term of legal and legal compliance;
• Process Efficiency/Error Rate of day-to-day matters to be processed in house, provide risk assessment and delivery of advices in term of legal and legal compliance;
• Legal Dispute/Resolve Cycle Time for recommendation and problem solving to the Director of Legal if complicated dispute, issues, matters occur;
• Periodic Update of new regulations and analysis of impact for legal comment and analysis;
• Periodic Follow up Report of compliance including action plan;
Yêu cầu ứng viên
• University degree in law from a reputable university Lawyer Practicing Certificate;
• Over 03 years experience as in-house lawyer in a multinational corporation
• Good knowledge of investment laws, enterprise laws and labour laws and contract management;
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem solving, balanced and independent judgment, law interpretation and implementation skills;
• Highly proficiency in oral, writing and communications in both English and Vietnamese;
• Able for frequent travel to site/resort if required
