Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients, formerly Jebsen & Jessen Chemicals, is part of the Jebsen & Jessen Group of companies South East Asia, headquartered in Singapore. The chemicals business has been a core business of the Group’s history since it was founded in 1963.
As a chemicals distribution specialist we expand from the initial two markets of Singapore and Malaysia to Thailand and Indonesia in the 1970s, Vietnam and the Phillipines in the 1990s and Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos after 2011. With a growing need to offer a diverse portfolio of both speciality chemicals and ingredients for food, agribusiness and pharma we grew our business strongly through the acquisition of Helm Mahaboon in 2010. In 2015 we changed our name to suit our broad offering spanning more than 100 supplier partners across six business lines.
Beyond South East Asia we work closely with our sister companies Jebsen Specialty Chemicals in Hong Kong and Jebsen & Jessen (GmbH & Co. KG) in Hamburg; we have been the 8th largest chemicals distributor in the ICIS global ranking for the past 3 consecutive years.
