Provide tactical and strategic leadership to the Upholstery department and business while producing product that meets the needs of designers and clients
In charge of Upholstery Dept .
Being responsible for all the organisational aspects of production: Expense, scheduling and budgeting, develop base on ramp plan to adapt the business growth every year.
Set up and drive the AOP of factory based on the key factors to ensure operation running smoothly: People, Customer, Financial, Process Improvement and Innovation
Drive factory KPIs to achieve targets of: Safety – Zero accident, 100% OBQ, On-time delivery 100%, Efficiency, yield – loss and OE cost controlling to ensure operation margin.
Determine the needed human resources as well as prepare for back-up level of key positions
Make decision about machine, tooling, maintenance and procurement
Work out and implement Standard Operating Procedure for UPH Operations.
Work out production layout to utilize space, reduce inventory and production lead-time
Lead the cost reduction program for whole factory from material yield increment to OE/ SG&A cost reduction by Kaizen Event, process re-engineering.
Ensure the facility to be cleaned, organized and follow Ashley WCM’s standard
Set up and manage production budgets.
Process improvement for making decision faster, simpler and more effectively.
Create a culture of continuous improvement in upholstery
Own, drive and maintain the QMS
Facilitate a consistent, fair and equitable work environment
Meet or exceed all KPIs
Own and drive 5S
Implement all policies and procedures consistently
Proactive communication and training
Drive effective performance management across the team
Create a collaborative, positive culture
