*** Purpose of this role:
Build and implement an Effective Risk Management & Governance Framework as required by the local Head of Risk management and Regional Risk Management in both a backward- and forward-looking perspective. The position is accountable for all analytical aspects of risk management for company.
*** The role holder will be responsible for implementing and maintaining an Risk Management & Governance system to manage the risks and risk related topics of the company including but not limited to the integration of risk concepts and risk framework into company strategic planning and key business processes. Principal accountabilities are:
• Manage the interaction with Risk functions at both Regional and Group level;
• Actively follow and work in details on risk management topics and embed into the relevant business process (Strategic Asset Allocation, Product Development Process, Investment & ALM) with business key functions;
• Conduct monthly data governance on Investment Risk Goverance Guidance control report, VIR and solvency monitoring and product performance monitoring metrics
• Coordinate in Interest Rate Risk project and effective follow up on mitigation actions – a cross functional project with Risk, Finance, Investments and Actuarial
• Provide technical support and deliver assigned tasks to Head of Risk Management in developing specific projects.
• Support on roll out and localization of the Risk Policies & Guidelines from Group under Liquidity Risk, Life Underwriting Risk, Investment Risk Governance, Financial Market and Credit Risk.
• Coordinate on the Digital Risk Implementation project, annual Operational Risk Assessment and other cyber security governance topics
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Education: Degree qualified in Finance/ Economics/ Math
Experience
• 2 years or over experience working in the insurance industry in Risk, Finance, Life Insurance Audit or Actuarial function (would be a plus).
• Experience working in a multinational environment is essential
• Experience in Enterprise Risk and actuarial valuation/ product pricing are preferred
Skills
• Ability to bring together general business knowledge and financial/actuarial knowledge;
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and practices with an understanding of the drivers of the balance sheet, P&L.
• Good analytical skills and experience of analyzing large amounts of data to draw conclusions on what is important to the organization.
