The 1990s marked the moment Vietnam officially opened its doors to the world with high-quality textile and garment products. The origins of Kim Bespoke trace back to a family business in Huế specializing in premium silk, serving international tourists and offering made-to-measure tailoring services.
As Vietnam’s tourism industry rapidly expanded over time, the demand for souvenirs grew accordingly. It was then that Bảo Silk (the original name of Kim Bespoke) officially established its presence in Ho Chi Minh City in the early 2000s—one of Vietnam’s most vibrant tourism hubs at the time, attracting visitors from all over the world.
One of the most memorable impressions for tourists visiting Bảo Silk was the silk suits crafted from premium mulberry silk. With unique designs and exceptional quality, Bảo Silk quickly won the hearts of international visitors and soon evolved into a trusted supplier of silk products for markets such as Europe, Japan, and beyond.
Throughout many ups and downs alongside the country’s journey, the core values and customer-centric philosophy of Bảo Silk remained unchanged. International partners continued to trust and import Bảo Silk’s high-quality products, helping the brand maintain long-term stability.
In 2017, a major milestone was reached when Huỳnh Kim Bảo, the next generation of the family, officially transformed the brand - giving birth to Kim Bespoke and ushering in a new era for the heritage silk tailor.
