Economics Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IB/IGCSE Economics Teacher to join our team at Intertu. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curricula. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more subject areas, a passion for fostering a dynamic and engaging classroom environment, and a commitment to supporting students' academic growth and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Instructional Leadership
- Deliver engaging lessons in their subject area of expertise, exemplifying high-quality instructional practices.
- Mentor and guide peers in refining teaching strategies to optimize student learning outcomes.
- Prior experience with IB/IGCSE is preferred, but not required.
Curriculum Implementation and Enhancement
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Development team to ensure the curriculum's effective delivery, tailoring instructional approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Actively provide feedback on curriculum implementation, advocating for adjustments to cater to varying learning preferences.
Teacher Support and Professional Development
- Offer support and share expertise with colleagues, especially in pedagogical methods, classroom management, and enhancing student engagement.
- Seek out and recommend professional development opportunities to maintain a continuous learning and improvement culture among the teaching staff.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Classroom and Behavior Management
- Implement and uphold effective classroom and behaviour management strategies, creating a constructive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to address and resolve complex behavioural issues, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
Assessment and Reporting
- Develop and apply assessment tools that align with educational goals, providing insightful feedback to students on their progress.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Bachelor's degree in Education or the specific subject area to be taught. Advanced degrees or teaching credentials preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional methodologies and classroom management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- This position is only open to applicants from Vietnam.
