Mô tả công việc
- Greets and acknowledges guests while smiling and making eye contact.
- Recognizes repeat guests while smiling and making eye contact.
- Addresses guests by name while smiling and making eye contact.
- Builds a friendly relationship with guests while walking them to their table.
- Pulls out chairs and/or tables before guests are seated.
- Accommodates guests needs, i.e. wheel chair, restrooms, movement of drinks from one location to another, etc.
- Acts as a liaison between management and service staff
- Communicates guest complaints and compliments to management.
- Communicates guests needs to service staff/management, i.e. celebrating anniversary, birthday or any special requests etc.
- Invites and welcomes guests back upon completion of their visit.
- Alerts the kitchen of business flow, i.e. how many guests will soon be ordering, how many guests are having desesrt, how many guests are waiting to be seated, etc.
- Walks the floor and provides floor updates to management, i.e. how many open tables, open menus, etc.
- Ensures that guest seating is rotated between all service stations.
- Answers telephone, takes new reservations and maintains current reservations within procedural guidelines.
- Must be knowledgeable about the company you work for, i.e. locations, cuisine, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable about surroundings, i.e. nearby entertainment, theaters, etc.
- Performs all duties in adherence to all company standards.
- Must have the ability to provide friendly, courteous and professional service to all internal and external customers/guests, at all times.
