Fashion Merchandiser Specialist

A. Category Development
- Analysis of market information; follow new developments and trends in order to be up-to-date on the situation on each item
- Observation of the activities of competitors; collect data to make up-to-date information available on the activities of competitors
- Work with immediate Manager/Senior Manager and colleagues to define items
- Execute sourcing, conduct price negotiations with suppliers
- Work with QA team to assist in checking the quality of items to make sure that it is compliance with the quality policies
- Prepare the sales contract with supplier in the consulting of the immediate Manager/Senior Manager and/or Director in order to protect the right of Lotte Mart
- Set up product code for new items in MD system and send information of the new items to relating persons as: Sales admin staff, Store Manager, Category Supervisor, ect…
B. Merchandising
- Achievement of agreed sales target and profits those are: Sales, Cash Margin, Statistical Margin, Old Stock, Potential Old Stock, Stock
- Follow and manage the performance of a defined item category effectively in terms of pricing, promotion, products assortment, quality of products, planning and allocation of each items and per store
- Ensure that the Pricing Strategy is fully in place and understood by Suppliers
- Support and implement with Merchandising Plano grams delivering correct space allocation
- Re-assess article performance on a regular basis to identify and deal with any old stock
- Work with Marketing team in order to present promotions
- Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with MD teams, operations, sales & marketing, logistics and other functions within the organization
C. Reporting
- Reporting to the immediate manager all relating issues in the job in charge
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports on duties in charge to Senior Manager, Fashion Director and/ or the General Director
D. Others
- Other related works/tasks as requested by the immediate Manager/ Senior Manager, General Directors
- Being ready to travelling oversea and local areas for business
- Be responsible to follow all the Company regulations, procedures and memos
Yêu cầu ứng viên
+ Qualifications/ Competencies (Essential) :
- A self-starter, highly organized, strong negotiation and communications skills
- Good knowledge of Fashion/Garment industry
- Strong analytical ability and good in data/ figures
- Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of assortment on the given purchase field
+ Certificate/License/Course :
- Bachelor Degree – major in Economics, Business Administration, Fashion
+ Language Required:
- Good in English or Korean language in both written and oral
- Specific Experience
- 3-year experience in purchasing, experience in Retail is preferred
+ Job Authority
- Sales Plan, Stock report & relating matters
- Turnover weekly report & monthly report
- Co-work with Marketing, Product Strategy
- Access to MD system
- Work with Customers, Suppliers
