Proposal Engineer (cum Contract Engineer)

This position will be requested to function as a proposal engineer in charge of commercial matter during the bidding preparation period and as a contract engineer during the actual project if the bid project be awarded to us.
Work Location:
- Preparation period: Hanoi (expectedly from September 2021 to March 2022)
- Construction period: Dispatched to northern provinces such as Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc or Bac Ninh (Construction period will be 2 years and half to 3 years or so)
Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Graduated from business, legal, construction and/or engineering related university and have at least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry
• Have good communication skills in English and be able to support Japanese experts
• Be able to develop trustful relationship with clients
• Have working experience in JICA/WB/ADB funded infrastructure projects which are managed under FIDIC or similar international standard contract.
• Have good understanding of FIDIC or similar international standard contract and be able to develop risk analysis of contract document.
• Have good knowledge about applicable regulations, laws which are relevant to bidding, implementation of construction projects.
• Be able to make commercial part of bidding documents within the appropriate time period.
• Be able to submit necessary clarifications and manage related document in good manner.
• Be able to support Project Manager during the contract negotiation to win a project with reasonable conditions in favor of the contractor side.
• Be able to get necessary construction permits, support PM to establish necessary organization to commence construction.
• Be able to support construction team by developing appropriate subcontract contract based on the conditions of main contract.
• Be able to manage submitting necessary letters to the client to minimize risks and maximize opportunities as a contractor.
