Legal Advisory and Strategy
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on a broad range of legal issues affecting the bank/fintech company.
• Develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Regulatory Compliance
• Monitor and interpret changes in financial regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Policy Development and Implementation
• Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce compliance policies across all departments.
Training and Awareness
• Provide training to employees on legal and compliance matters, ensuring a high level of awareness and understanding.
• Foster a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
Regulatory Reporting
• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely regulatory reports to relevant authorities.
• Ensure all regulatory reporting requirements are met and maintained.
Internal Investigations
• Lead internal investigations into potential instances of non-compliance or unethical conduct.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to address and resolve compliance issues.
Contract Review and Negotiation
• Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field; Lawyer Certificate is a plus;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal and compliance roles within the banking, fintech or consumer finance industry, with a proven track record of successful management;
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance best practices;
• Good knowledge of Tax laws and regulations, business contract, legal contracts;
• Experience in working with governmental departments;
• Experience in working in a multicultural environment;
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Familiarity with fintech platforms, digital banking, and regulatory technology solutions is an advantage.
