  • Manages the end to end recruitment delivery of allocated vacancies across multiple functions at country level, using all methods
  • Advises and partners with hiring managers on the most suitable route to attracting and selecting candidates and deliver the agreed solution
  • Builds close working relationships with local HR team, Centre of Expertise and People Services to support the Business together as a 1HR team
  • Carries out initial screening and the first interview of shortlisted candidates as required for the vacancies allocated
  • Tracks agreed local Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements for area of responsibility and to provide timely and accurate reports to the Regional Talent Resourcing Manager, along with recommendations for improving performance
  • Acts as the custodian of allocated targeted areas and proactively build talent pipelines internally and externally through the use of Application Tracking System and social media platforms
  • Builds strong relationships with local 3rd party suppliers, ensuring satisfactory commercial terms are in placed
  • Manages recruitment expenses within country budget allocation. Conducts recruitment considering the most cost effective methods, including the usage of recruiting agencies, external job boards, social media, etc.
  • Provides appropriate training and support to hiring managers locally to ensure they are competent & skilled in recruiting in line with AkzoNobel processes, best practices and local law
  • Proactively looks to drive efficiency of process and reduce associated costs
  • Supports campus recruitment campaigns as required
  • Stay abreast of local market trends

1. Job requirements/Candidate profile

  • Degree in Human Resources or other related fields
  • At least 7 years of recruitment experience in HR, with 3 years in an in-house capacity. Prior experience working in agency would be a plus
  • Proven experience in delivering successful best practices, end to end recruitment campaigns within specified deadlines
  • Experience of working with ATS and social media platforms
  • Experience in building, managing and engaging talent pipelines
  • Experience in using analytics as a tool for monitoring performance
  • Knowledge of current local Employment Law relating to recruitment and selection
  • Ability to work with some level of ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and native language
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment
