Mô tả công việc

• Working with our Sustainability Manager you will be responsible for delivering finished good footwear factory social compliance assessments and capacity building activities, helping our vendor partners to understand and make phased improvements.
• Most of your time will be spent supporting factories to understand the requirements of international audit standards such as BSCI and partner with them to make phased improvements.
• You will plan and conduct social compliance assessments to review factory progress and communicate these results to key stakeholders in a professional, objective and clear manner.
• You will develop corrective action review processes, documentation, and templates to report findings, actions and observations.
• You may be assigned other projects relating to social compliance depending on need
• You will always work in an ethical manner and retain and safeguard documents relating to audits and corrective actions confidentially.
• This role will require regular travel within Vietnam

Yêu cầu công việc

• Significant years of experience conducting social audits and assessments within the apparel and/or footwear sector
• Experience auditing against international standards such as SMETA, Fair Wear Foundation, SA8000, with a preference for direct experience with the BSCI framework
• Deep understanding of local labour and health hand safety laws
• Ability to work with factories to identify root causes of noncompliance and develop realistic plans for improvement
• Have significant experience in delivering capacity building activities and training, moving beyond identifying issues in an audit to supporting factories to understand and make improvements.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently to strict deadlines and manage multiple work activities at one time.
• Vietnamese speaker with fluent written and verbal English
