Job Description:
Line of reporting: to (i) Investment Manager (IM) and (ii) Project Manager (PM)
1. Together with IM to lead negotiation and execution of (i) Power Purchase Agreement with Clients, (ii) Lease Agreements, (iii) other types of commercial agreements
2. Together with PM to lead negotiation and execution of (i) contract with EPC Contractors, O&M Contractors, and other service providers
3. Perform Legal due diligence on clients, projects, project’s permits and licensings requirements against current regulations in the market
4. Together with IM and PM to complete all permits and licensings requirements for projects, including perform critical assessment of the legal risks and mitigation plans during project development phase
5. Draft official letters with competent authorities and other third-party parties
6. Together with PM to ensure that the EPC Contractor, OEM, Vendors and/or service providers meet all their contractual obligations and requirements
7. Track Investor’s contractual responsibilities as set out under the construction contracts
8. Together with IM or PM to represent the Investor in contracts negotiation with regards to claims or variations under the contract, or negotiation with clients
9. Provide legal advice on other corporate matters, including M&A, when required
