Legal and Compliance Lead

What will you be doing?
● Supervise and lead the legal and compliance team in Aspire VN, maintain the VN legal team's daily operations.
● Ensure that the Group principles and procedures set out are followed and strengthened in Vietnam while taking an active role in reviewing and improving policies/procedures in Vietnam.
● Consult, provide legal support, draft and negotiate contracts and forms (bilingual) related to the general strategy of Aspire VN within the scope of the common projects of Aspire Group, legally controlling contracts and transactions with domestic and foreign partners within the scope of functions and tasks;
● Support local project teams in their understanding of legal requirements in contracts and commercial negotiations.
● Interface with different departments as needed, create/improve cross-department coordinating processes to increase efficiency and minimize
● Provide general legal advice and support on legal provisions related to Aspire VN's business and administration activities (non-business) as well as different commercial projects, in order to effectively control the status of the legal risks in business/administration activities of Aspire in Vietnam.
● Supervise and maintain risk management of the entire legal consulting work: periodical inspection, professional exchange meetings with different departments.
● Conduct frequent training for both Legal team members and members of relevant departments on legal issues, skills, and related techniques.
● Represent the company’s interests and interface (as appropriate) directly with regulatory agencies and supervise the engagement of external legal service providers in Vietnam.
● Take a lead role in other ad-hoc projects at the request of the group’s General Counsel or the group’s business leaders.
