Recruitment (70%)

  • Communicate with Production Managers and other Hiring Managers in MX Factory to get a clear view on their hiring needs and organizational goals
  • Define job description and document specifications
  • Have good HR networks for recruitment
  • Be resourceful in searching and collecting candidates for workers
  • Have ability to influence Executive Search Companies to support in getting the right candidates for vacancies of supervisory or managerial position in time-effective manner
  • Conduct interviews
  • Present shortlisted candidates
  • Conduct reference checks for managerial positions as required
  • Work closely with Production Managers on placing selected worker candidates

Employee relations (15%)

  • Establish good relationships with Production Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Leader for better understanding production requirements and thereafter recruitment requirements
  • Establish good relationship with both Trade Union and workers in order to better understand workers’ expectations and feedback to the company for the purposes of enhancing the workers’ morale and motivations

Compensation and benefits

  • Have experience of working on payroll and statutory insurances
  • Have experience of implement employee benefits, i.e. medical insurance, accident insurance, and fringe benefits

Job Requirement:

  • 04-05 years of experience in recruiting or similar HR role
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Good knowledge of candidate selection methods
  • Good understanding of Employer Branding strategies
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field

Reporting line:

  • Report to General Manager of HR & Admin
  • Manage a team of 05 recruitment staff members

Skills and abilities:

  • Fluently in both written and spoken English, Interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • A high level of personal integrity, professionalism and confidential
  • Strong leadership skills such as (1) clear and effective communications, verbal and written, (2) influencing others, (3) Coaching & training, (4) effective time management
  • A high level of personal integrity, professionalism and confidential
  • Work independently, withstand high pressure

Experience:

  • Male/ Female at least 3-4 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing work environment
  • Experience in Japanese working environment is preferred
