In 1980, YLF started off as a distributor of confectionary and beverages in Singapore.
Identifying the huge opportunity in the candy industry, YLF established its manufacturing facilities in the state of Johor, Malaysia, in 1992.
Building on our strong foundation as a distribution company, YLF has since expanded our distribution capability from Singapore to Malaysia and Thailand. With a well-established sales team and logistics network, YLF is able to provide personalized services to our customers in these three Asian countries.
Our ability to provide our own manufactured products as well as highly popular candy imported from Europe and Asia provides our customers a wide range of tasty and interesting confectionery.
YLF has also taken up licenses for Disney, Marvel, My Little Pony, Transformer etc. Thus, YLF is able to provide even greater options for interesting confectionary under these intellectual properties.
In 2020, YLF has further expanded its scope to toys, allowing us to put forth an even greater variety of products.
YLF has attained ISO 9002 certification in 1999. Following which, we were also granted FSSC 22000 certification (which includes HACCP and ISO22000).
YLF has successfully entered the global market via exportation of our home-grown brands, such as Pikin, Beardy, Toy’s Castle. We are also being engaged to produce items under license and private labels for overseas customers.
