1. Finance Management
- Work with the Executive Director to create, implement and analyze budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategics;
- Prepare and submit all financial reporting documents required by Korea Office;
- Overseeing and preparing budgets;
- Evaluating and initiating investments
- Financial reporting to Korea Office in precise and timely manner
- Recommending cost reduction strategies
- Set up and maintain adequate in country finance and accounting system in line with Vietnam’s laws
- Establish and conduct risk management
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures for activities, as necessary, for the finance department
- Allocating resources and managing finances
2. Accounting Management
- Maintain excellent records related to bookkeeping, expenses, funds, partnership ventures, that are at all times accurate, substantiated, up to date, sufficiently detailed and prepared for random spot checks by internal audit functions
- Ensure the security, relevancy and applicability of Accounting software
- Supervise & Support subordinates in classifying expenses into appropriate account head and entering into accounting software
- Supervise & Support subordinates for maintaining records related to book keeping, expenses, funds, partnership ventures
- Prepare monthly accounting report and reporting to Korea Office in precise and timely manner
- Provide Capacity Building training to Accounting personnel
- Ensure timely recording of all accounting transactions in General Ledger
Yêu cầu công việc
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance. A Master’s degree and/or a recognized accounting qualification would be an asset.
- Experience in financial accounting/management accounting/tax
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting requirements for FDI
- ACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, financial reporting standards, financial management processes and procedure
- Fluent English
Key competencies
- Leadership and communication skills, coupled with diplomacy, numeracy, and business acumen are essential.
- Proven interpersonal and people-management skills, complimented by excellent written and spoken English are essential.
- Proven experience of designing business processes, setting standards, or establishing operating policies and procedures is desirable, preferably in a project or program management context.
- Strong service orientation.
