From Feb 2020 up to Feb 2021: Tax supervisor of Emart Viet Nam (Belong Shinsage Group, number one on super markets in Korea)
Tax compliances:
• Review tax reporting, tax returns, tax calculation of Value Added Tax (VAT) in monthly. Prepare monthly and finalization calculations Personal Income Tax (PIT) for expatriates, Corporation Income Tax (CIT),Withholding Tax (FCT);
• Prepare all tax payments (import tax, land rental, PIT, VAT, CIT,FCT);
• Timely book keep entries related to tax expenses in SAP system
• Tax reconciliation on tax returns with accounting book;
• Calculating deferred Tax between VAS and IFRS and booking defer tax in SAP system;
• Conduct tax research on technical issues on issues;
• Work closely with the overall ownership of the process; review internal processes to minimize risks;
• Support to set up proper documentations, tax supporting documents in accordance with the domestic tax laws and regulations; update on Tax Database (Tax risk) and making tax project for new tax regulations.
• Support and analysis the intercompany transactions within the group and the tax implications that related;
• Proactively working with the local (MY/TH/VN/PH) tax consultants if there is any tax issues in transactions/ other daily local operations and preparing the tax returns;
• Proactively working with the local tax staff if there is any tax issues in transactions/ other daily local operations and preparing the tax returns;
• Reconcile and coordinate to internal departments to work with Tax Department in tax audit period from 2017 to 2018;
• Support and work with Customs Department in customs audit period from 2015 to 2020;
• Statistic and other reports to Gov office;
Accounting:
• Follow up importing tax
• Work closely with the product accountant team to ensure accurate and timely book keep entries in SAP system for matching invoices import goods expenses, warehouse expenses, transportations expenses, pre inspection expenses and other expenses related to import goods.
• Follow up payable account of import goods, outside services for custom declarations, tax import goods refund.
• Ensure accurate and timely book keep entries in SAP system for Expatriate and Vietnamese salary, allowances, bonuses, insurances.
• Support monthly closing accounting books.

- Review contracts, documents for tax compliance purpose, support other divisions during the course of business operation.
- Reconcile VAT input figure on B/S with detail of input invoices.
- Reconcile revenue and VAT output figure on B/S all stores.
- Working with Buyer team to review VAT tax rate on Meti system.
- Working with IT team to ensure Topos software and Meti system data correctly.
- Prepare Value Added Tax, Corporation Income Tax, With Holding Tax as Monthly, Quarterly and Finalization of every year.
- Support monthly closing accounting books.
- Transfer pricing management: Annual TPD preparation, laise with global tax and external auditor, periodically updating changes from Gov.
- Tax management: fully responsible and accountable for all taxation matters including but not limited with preparation and consults compliance VAS tax reports in tax audit and taxation forecast and/or all required tasks.
- Tax saving initiative and ensure timely and accurate filing of all kinds of tax returns.
- Plan, direct, and execute various tax projects.
- Working with government tax audit in tax inspection in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
- Supporting transfer Auchan Retail Group to Saigon Coop and closing company. Prepare closing documents and VAT refund for closing company.
- Having good relationship with tax authorities in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Bac Ninh.
- Statistic and other reports to Gov office.

I’m a leader of the tax team I take duties training technical knowledge for internal staffs, client staffs and consult directly assigned client by email, meeting or phone.
- Review tax declaration, tax finalization such as: personal income tax (PIT), corporation income tax (CIT), value added tax (VAT) foreign contractor tax (FCT).
- Be in charge of analysis tax risk dossiers of clients and prepare implement documentations to minimize tax risks.
- Directly to work tax authorities explain, negotiate, deal and get VAT, PIT refund.
- Assist the clients during tax audit of the tax authorities.
Beside I do tax services, I also review and settle internal staffs to do other services comprising:
 Payroll services
 Registration long term loan agreement with State Bank.
 Registration compliance labor and insurance, obtaining work permit and temporary resident card for expatriates.
 Obtaining Representative Office Establishment Decision, Representative Office Activity Extension, Procedures Closing Representative Office.
 Set accounting book-keeping Representative Office
 Review vouchers, invoices, labor contracts and other relevant documents of Representative Office to keep far away tax risks in tax investigations.
