Managing the pre-opening of the first 2 flagship properties of ASAI Hotels, the new affordable lifestyle hotel brand concept under the umbrella of Dusit Hotels and Resorts
- Assist Project Team on layout, design and functionality in key areas. Monitor construction site, research and recommend FF&E/ OS&E item and supplier choices, handle testing, commissioning and product quality assurance, propose practical solutions in line with brand and environmental standards
- Co-develop overall brand, hotel and F&B concept outlines, and create operational systems and solutions to manage them. Research and propose CRM, PMS/ POS and CMS solutions
- Refine HR strategies, resulting in attracting an agile pre-opening Team within budget, lead all staff through a challenging Covid-19 period into soft-opening stage, implement OKR framework on hotel level
- Head setup of CRS/ OBE, OTA and Revenue Management structures, improve existing standards and establish a data-driven culture within the Team. Deliver accurate pre-opening, operating budgets and forecasts, drive revenue and guest satisfaction goals, contribute to S&M strategies and action plans for brand and property. Coach and work closely with sales and revenue Team to cope with pandemic and current political situation, put together action plans to ensure market share for post-covid period
- Successfully opened 30% of the property on 15/09 adapting to the current market situation, prepare the completion of construction and systems setup until 12/ 2020

The property was selected to join the network of Design HotelsTM, representing an exclusive collection of privately owned and operated high-end boutique hotels around the world.
- Monitor and evaluate existing hotel setup, analyse market situation, review available data and strategies, identify adjustments necessary to adhere to/ exceed requirements from Design HotelsTM
- Evaluate effectiveness of internal operating processes in all divisions, define company standards and engage staff in SOP improvement. Structure training sessions, coach management/ HR Team in defining culture, goals and MTP, re-align Team leadership, communications and engagement processes
- Give advise and design programmes to enhance F&B concept and marketing strategies, collaborate with local suppliers, creators and influencers to establish a healthy brand reputation and positioning of an upscale boutique hotel, firmly rooted in the local community in Saigon
- Recommend strategic directions to management, with a focus on sales, revenue analysis/ growth and profitability strategies, propose facility upgrades and preventive maintenance activities
