1. Internal control:
Controlling the internal control system to ensure compliance with State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) regulations and Basel II standards.
Monitoring the implementation of internal regulations closely.
Verifying and participating in the drafting of policies, regulations, processes, products of all segments/operations of the Bank to ensure compliance with legal regulations and effectiveness in governance.
Supporting relevant departments in developing and review internal regulations to ensure compliance with the provisions of laws.
Auditing the compliance of units at H.O.
Assisting Compliance Manager in establishing and implementing a compliance review system to ensure business activities are aligned with local laws and regulations.
2. Legal & Risk management:
Researching and analyzing regulation on law/SBV. Providing legal advice on wide range of matters related to production, business, credit, risk, etc.
Resolving problems related to legal regulations in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
Assessing the impacts and effects of legal regulations on internal activities.
Participating in building a LOS (Loan Origination System) and CLIMS (Collateral and Limits Management System).
Consulting legal and risk issues involved in bank.
3. Communication:
Liaising with the competent authorities on compliance matters.
Supporting the internal audit for annual review and regulatory exam management.
4. Reports:
Managing and reviewing the reports as required by laws and regulations.
Managing the reports as required of SBV or other competent authorities.
5. Other Task:
Controlling assigned personnel to ensure the quality of work.
Participating in Group restructuring project (include sub-bank and subsidiaries).
